Cancelling and rescheduling

Our sessions are non-refundable, as such cancellations are not recommended.

If you can no longer attend your Pop-in appointment you can reschedule by going to 'My Pop-ins' when logged in to your customer account at www.popinphotos.com, and clicking 'reschedule' on your upcoming appointment.

Note: If you or your child is unwell with any contagious illness you must reschedule your appointment. Please protect our photographers those poppets who are newborn, pregnant or who have health issues by keeping unwell people away from Pop-ins. You also may not attend Pop-ins if you are in self isolation for any reason as instructed by your government.

During epidemic or pandemic events we recommend that you wait for your turn in the Pop-in chair in your car or outside the studio. You can enter the studio to 'check in' for your appointment and ask at the desk for an expected wait time, then reenter with your children after this time, you will be added to the waiting list and will be called in order of your original arrival. If your baby is under 4 months of age please also bring your own blanket to use on the Pop-in chair to avoid the sharing of soft fabrics between children.

The option to reschedule online closes before your shoot time, so if your poppet is looking unwell on the day, make sure you reschedule in advance of your booking. Reschedules made 5 days or less prior to your appointment are subject to a $5 rescheduling fee. If you do not reschedule your appointment before your shoot, your session fee is non-refundable and your appointment can not be moved.

As we are a franchised company with independent business owners operating in different locations, when rescheduling to an event held by a different host photographer additional rescheduling fees apply. In this instance your original booking payment is fully refunded within 10 working days, and your credit card will be charged again for the new session, and the rescheduling fee.

For annual/special events where the next occasion of the session is not for many months eg. Mother's Day, your session fee is non-refundable, you may be offered an opportunity to catch up within the next month at another Special event of the same type (ie. another Mother's Day event) in your area, if any is available. If you can not attend a session that is available to you as a catch up, you will forfeit your session fee. Upon cancelling a special event with extras added on, your add ons will be refunded (this may be less booking fees) but the base appointment is non-refundable.

There is no opportunity to reschedule an appointment to a different appointment type: for example, your child is sick for their Christmas Pop-in which is the last Christmas event of the year, this can not be changed/credited towards a Monthly Pop-in. As bookings are available only 3 months in advance, it is also not possible to reschedule to the same annual event the following year. In this instance, unfortunately your session fee is non-refundable.

Reschedules or refunds are not offered in any instance outside of our control, including your child being sick or refusing to cooperate at their session despite your photographer's best efforts. The only circumstance in which we are obligated to reschedule or refund your appointment is when a change to your event is initiated by your host photographer. We do not offer refunds or rebooking if you miss your session or for any reason and do not reschedule in advance, this is a condition laid out in our Terms and Conditions that you agree to upon booking.
